I chose to become a nurse and it was a refined and desired choice.

I have been a nurse since 1998 and immediately after graduation I served in an Accident and Emergency Department.

The following year I started working for SCA Hygiene products as a Product Specialist, I managed the refresher courses for healthcare professionals on patient hygiene, incontinence, and the prevention of blood pressure sores. This job gave me the opportunity to travel and meet many people, but above all it made me independent.

Teaching has remained one of my great aspirations, so much so that from 2004 to 2008 I had the opportunity and the good fortune to be nominated Professor in the Nursing Degree course at "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

I discovered the world of dialysis in 2004. The dialysis patient is a patient at 360°, it is a mixture of medical science, psychology, and sociology, it is a continuous discovery and Diaverum has given me the possibility and the right tools to be able to treat at 360° this peculiar patient.

Within this exceptional work group, I found my world. In my clinic I also take care of the training of new nurses, and this gives me the incentive to continue studying and keep myself updated.

Dialysis has given me the opportunity to grow professionally every day and I thanks this great company for the trust it gave me 17 years ago and which I still receive today.
