Dott. Fioramonti you have been part of the Diaverum Italy Management team since 2021; could you tell us a little about your professional past?

My passion for IT and technology in general has roots that sink into my youth when I helped my father in his job as a programmer in the public sector. Then the engineering faculty and the first job at Hewlett-Packard have done the rest; every technological innovation I was interested in was a springboard for the next one and, after 5 years in HP, I joined FOX Networks Group that has been my ""family"" for 16 years. FOX was a different work environment compared to HP, very familiar from a certain point of view, where I understood that people, as a team, can make a difference if they all pursue the same objective.

Could you tell a little more about the activities you are involved in?

I am responsible for the technological area in Diaverum Italy and, together with my team, we give IT support to the staff of all clinics and offices. Personally my view is that the IT team can help and significantly improve everyone's job, giving the opportunity to all medical and non medical staff to focus on patient care.

What's your idea of Diaverum since your joined the company? Is there anything that struck you in particular?

In Diaverum I immediately noticed the unique passion that drives all staff to the same goal, having patients that can live their fullfilling life.

What's your vision for the future?

My vision it to make sure that the information and the technology we manage, through out the professionals who operate in our clinics and in our offices, are helpful for patients, directly and indirectly, to improve their quality of life.

Would you like to tell us something about your private life?

I have been married for 14 years with Giulia and I have two beautiful children: Gaia, who is 8 years old, and Matteo who is 6 years old. I have many hobbies and interests but, among all, motorcycle, sport and photography are those that have always belonged to me:
• Sport and volleyball, which I have been practicing for 22 years, where I met wonderful people who I still keep in touch with.
• the bike and the mechanics, such as a part of the knowledge process: disassemble, understand the functioning of each part and fix the motorcycle which has always been faithful to me in these 17 long years.
• photography, started as a hobby and evolved into astrophotography to take pictures of stars, nebulae and galaxies, not only landscapes, architecture and portraits.
